Pidkamin Monastery and Devil’s Rock included
Less well known but still a nice side trip on the road trip to Pochayiv and back is Pidkamin. This small town features a bizarre rock formation that gave the town it’s name (Kamin means rock and pid means under). The inselberg sticks out of the landscape and is sure worth a visit. The Greek-Catholic monastery of Pidkamin is currently being renovated but is impressive to visit anyways. Most days you will be alone in this area. It is a great way to see some of Ukraines beautiful countryside.
